#651 - Moon on the Water
Location: Beach Room (1st Floor, Music Room)
Division: Adult | Exhibited by: Self
Category: Commercial Design | Technique: Canvaswork: Multi-Stitch (4+)
Commercial Pattern/Designer: Wendy Moore Designs
Artist Statement: I love moons and I am often telling my friends and family to "look at the moon." Looking
at the moon in the night sky brings me to a peaceful place where I can give thanks for the day and all it has
brought me.
I saw this design by Wendy Moore and knew I had to stitch. It captures the moon in a way my hundreds of
photos do not. Seeing this piece hanging in my house always makes me smile and grounds me. It is my
favorite piece I have ever stitched.
