Judge's Critiques

Registration period: January 25th to February 17th

Have you ever wished you could consult an expert about how to improve your needlework?  Well, now you can! Woodlawn and the judges for the 2017 Needlework Show are offering a limited number of critiques (only one per entrant will be allowed this year) to all stitchers who enter a piece in the show. Once the judging is complete and in return for your purchase of a $25 ticket, a judge will examine your piece carefully in private and prepare a confidential report to be sent to your home address. Please expect a critique to take up to two weeks to be returned to you. Act now to make sure you get a spot on the critique list!
If spots become sold out, we will create a  wait-list and judges will provide additional critiques, if time allows. You will be asked for your credit card information ahead and ONLY be charged if you are pulled from the wait list.
Instructions: If you are submitting more than one entry into the show and have already mailed in your entry or have delivered it to a shop for entry, please email Laura at woodlawnevents@savingplaces.org to let us know which entry you would like to have critiqued. If you are walking in with your entry at Woodlawn on February 12 or 14, you can let us know at that time that you have purchased a spot already (we will have a list of purchasers) and let us know which piece you would like to have critiqued, when you submit your work.
Please email us at the address above if you have any questions about the process.
